Yet these terrible disasters have not touched the hearts of wicked men, nor reestablished Christian faith and morals. The sight of this fatal indifference must urge us, my dear Daughters, to have recourse to God (…).
Ah! my very dear sisters, give yourselves to Him. Since you are His brides you belong to Him irrevocably. All your past failings will be forgiven and forgotten, and heaven will be your portion. Only show good will and do not be held back by difficulties; good will suffices for all you are not able to do. The Divine Heart of Jesus will supply the strength you lack”.
