Reaching one hundred years of life is a rare and remarkable blessing. On the 8th of March 2026, in our community in Froyennes (Belgium) we celebrated with gratitude the centenary of Sr Bernadette Geneviève, a woman whose life has been marked by faith, gentleness and quiet dedication.
For a full century, Sr Bernadette Geneviève has journeyed through the seasons of life with a heart rooted in prayer and humility. Those who have known her often describe her as pious and gentle. A person whose calm presence brings peace and encouragement to others. Her life reflects a deep commitment to faith and service, inspiring those around her through her example of patience, kindness and devotion.
Even at one hundred years Sr Bernadette Geneviève continues to radiate a youthful spirit. Her simplicity, wisdom and warm smile remind us that true youth come from the heart.
