Recently, Sr Thérèse Louise Guénet celebrated her one-hundredth birthday with great festivities. Today she is a resident of the Holy Union Sisters retirement home in Froyennes, Belgium. Sister Thérèse Louise lived for many years in Douai, France. She was a faithful member of Notre-Dame Parish there. Friends and family gather to honor her at a mass at Notre-Dame. At Froyennes, there was a festive meal, gifts and the traditional toast to long life!
